Why we publish this
Statutory rates and rules change often, across six countries and (for Canada and the US especially) dozens of sub-jurisdictions. Errors and figures that simply go stale between our review cycles are both possible. Rather than quietly editing a page when something is wrong, we log it here — this is a working transparency record, not a claim that the site has ever been perfect.
